A fintech adviser platform, nearly ten years in the building

“We went into the first project with Liam and the team expecting to spend a lot of time course-correcting. We didn’t.”

Nearly ten years into building Digital Wealth Solutions, we’re careful about who we let near our platform. Fintech doesn’t leave much room for “move fast and fix things later,” and AI features raise the stakes further, so we went into the first project with Liam and the team expecting to spend a lot of time course-correcting.

We didn’t. They took the time to understand how our platform actually works and built for it specifically, rather than dropping in something generic. Testing was rigorous, delivery was quick, and when requirements shifted mid-build they adapted without drama or a renegotiation.

What sold us on continuing was how they work with our in-house team. They supplement our developers rather than compete with them, and our engineers now treat them as an extension of the team. We’re now into other projects together, and we expect that to continue.

Book an audit

The worries, answered

Ask the awkward one first.

These are the twelve we get asked. The answers do not change once you are in the room, so you may as well have them before you book.

It will break

It will, eventually. When it does the job lands back on a person instead of failing quietly, and there is an off switch you can hit without ringing us first.

Where our data goes

Nowhere new. It runs in accounts you already own, the audit reads how work moves rather than your customer files, and nothing we build is trained on your data.

It replaces my people

No. We take the work you repeat, not the people who repeat it, and they keep the judgement, the exceptions and the customers, which is what you hired them for.

Another monthly bill

Built, installed, done. It runs in accounts held in your name, so nothing is rented from us and walking away from us does not switch your systems off.

This is AI slop

Most of it is. What we build does one named job inside the tools you already run, with a person approving anything that reaches a customer, which is why it sticks where a chatbot did not.

Nothing worth automating

Then we say so, and you will not hear from us again. You keep the map of how your own work moves either way, which is worth having whether we build anything or not.

Is this a sales call with a hat on?

No. We map the work you repeat, you keep the map, and you are free to build it yourself. If nothing you do is worth automating, we say so and you never hear from us again.

We tried ChatGPT and it did not stick.

It was never going to. A chat window is one more thing a person has to remember to open, and it starts from nothing every time you open it. What we build sits inside the tools you already run and does the job without anyone remembering to ask.

Our process is too messy for this.

Messy is not the same as unrepeatable. If you can teach a new starter to do it, it can be written down, and anything written down can be built. The audit is where we separate the parts that repeat from the parts that should stay human.

What happens when it gets something wrong?

It stops. Anything the system is not certain about goes to a person instead of guessing, and nothing that matters goes out without a human approving it. You get an off switch you control, and you will not need our permission to use it.

Who owns what you build?

You do. It runs in your accounts, on your logins, documented well enough that somebody else could pick it up. If you stop working with us it keeps running, and it leaves with you.

What does it cost?

We do not know yet, and anyone who quotes you before seeing the work is guessing. The number is agreed in writing before anything gets built, so it cannot drift halfway through. The audit costs nothing, and it is the shortest route to a real figure.
